Symptoms
The PL/SQL code that encounters an ORA-6502 error but the call stack indicates a line number that is not correct or logical whenever the code is compiled with the default code type of INTERPRETED (PLSQL_CODE_TYPE=INTERPRETED). When the code is compiled NATIVE (PLSQL_CODE_TYPE=NATIVE), the line number identified in the pl/sql stack is correct.
