Symptoms
When duplicating database, there is a very long delay before restoring the data files begins.
Depending your environment, there may be a delay of more than a few hours.
From the RMAN log, you can see that the restoration of the data files does not start after the control file has been restored and the auxiliary channel has been allocated.
