After Database Upgrade start the Standby is throwing an error ORA-00603: ORACLE server session terminated by fatal error (Doc ID 3060296.1)

Symptoms


After Stand alone with Data Guard Database Upgrade completed, start the Standby is throwing an fatal ERROR.

Changes

After completed the Upgrade when trying to start the standby the below error is throwing:

 

startup mount -> stop the mrp -> open database in read only.

Ran the command:

	alter database open read only;
