Symptoms

 From GSM: alert_GSM.log, Getting TNS timeout errors accessing one specific database. When run the sync database command for this database it fails with timeout.  

 Deleted the entries from gsmadmin_internal.gsm_requests and bounced the primary GSM to free up the pending requests. This does not solve the issue with the connection timeout.

Changes

 Unnecessary database links being used for GDS configurations causing TNS errors during 'gdsctl' operations.
