Zookeeper has UNKNOWN Status with "TrustAnchor is not a CA certificate" Service Monitor Error (Doc ID 3063295.1)

Symptoms

In the images, examples and document that follow, user details, cluster names, hostnames, directory paths, filenames, etc. represent a fictitious sample (and are used to provide an illustrative example only). Cloudera Manager reports Zookeeper as having an UNKNOWN status.

The Service Monitor logs, located on the host with Cloudera Manager role, at /var/log/cloudera-scm-firehose/mgmt-cmf-mgmt-SERVICEMONITOR-<HOST>.<DOMAIN>.log.out show output like:

Note that port 9010 is the port Cloudera Manager typically uses for Zookeeper monitoring.
