Symptoms

ORA-0 message appears in the alert.log when the database is shutting down or when a session is killed.

CTLD(3):KILL SESSION for sid=(100, 9262):
CTLD(3): Reason = PDB close immediate
CTLD(3): Mode = KILL HARD FORCE -/-/-
CTLD(3): Requestor = USER (orapid = 91, ospid = 31719756, inst = 1)
CTLD(3): Owner = Process: USER (orapid = 65, ospid = 24576504)
CTLD(3): Result = ORA-0
