Symptoms

Data Pump Export (expdp) using this syntax:

 

The Oracle directory <DirectoryName> has read,write permissions granted to PUBLIC.

 

When the permissions of the directory location at the OS level are changed to 777, Data Pump Export works fine.  The errors only occur when the permissions are changed to 2775, 775, or 755.
