Symptoms
When attempting to install Oracle Database 12c on a GRID cluster with two nodes running AIX 7.3, an error occurs on the "Select list of nodes" screen.
The error message indicates that the indicated nodes are not reachable, user equivalence is not available, or the user lacks permission to access the temporary location on those nodes.
Additional information reveals that the directory "/tmp/CVU_12.2.0.1.0_oracle/" cannot be used as a work directory on the node "node_name2".
The error stack includes messages related to file copying failures and the need to set the environment variable CV_DESTLOC to a different work area.
