While Installing Gives Error 'Unable To Copy Files Into Pds' (Doc ID 312313.1)

The Installer fails to copy executables to the allocated AUTHLOAD and CMDLOAD PDS's. Non-load libraries such as MESG are populated.

The install log contains:

Exception thrown from action: copyUSSexetoPDS
Exception Name: IOException6
Exception String: Error in creating file
Exception Severity: 2
*** Cancel Dialog: Unable to copy files into PDS. This may be due to the PDS being full or
unallocated. ***

The error messages

IEC104I 0000000A,RSCUCMD9,STEP1 ,SYS00003-000,BPX1OPN ,008B,02190158, 656 /dev/fd2


IEC141I 013-C0,IGG0199G,RSCUCMD9,STEP1,SYS00003

are issued at the OS390 console.


This can also happen using the silent (non-interactive) installer option.
