Symptoms
Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) fails with errors similar to the following displayed in the USS session used to invoke the OUI (runInstaller):
Executed cp -XAMC /oracle/v10g/mvsosdi/bin/minresrb "//'ORACLE.ORAV10.AUTHLOAD(MINRESRB)'"
Call failed with rc= 256
InstallActions log contains following errors:
Calling Action zOSActions10.1.0.3.0 copyUSSexetoPDS
Source = /oracle/v10g/mvsosdi/bin/minresrb
High_Level_Qual = ORACLE.ORAV10
Second_Level_Qual = AUTHLOAD
Member = MINRESRB
Exception thrown from action: copyUSSexetoPDS
Exception Name: IOException6
Exception String: Error in creating file
Exception Severity: 2
Note that the HLQ for the library is installation specific, and that AUTHLOAD may also be CMDLOAD, H, INSTLIB, MACLIB, SRCLIB, SQL, OBJLIB or SQLLIB.
