Import Failed With Error ORA-1741 When Creating Partitioned Table (Doc ID 337849.1)

Symptoms

During import you get the following errors:

IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 1741,
ORA-01741: illegal zero-length identifier,
IMP-00057: Warning: Dump file may not contain data of all partitions of this table
IMP-00055: Warning: partition or subpartition "BN_YEARLY_SALES":"STORE_INVENTORY_1" not found in export file


when creating a partition table with organization index (IOT).

The create table statement in the import log references a "" (NULL) value for the default tablespace of the table.

At the time the partition table was created the instance was pre-817.
