The alert log file shows the internal error:
       ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [dmbSetUpSearchInternalByLoc5], [], [], [], [], [], [],[]
while running a BLAST function

BLAST is a 10g data mining function for retrieving DNA sequences from a database.

The failing SQL statement is:

SELECT t.t_seq_id as mapping_id,t.score, t.expect as evalue
             BLASTN_MATCH ( 'agtgatggac . . . . . . . <contd> ,
             CURSOR(select mapping_id, lower(seq_data) from  featuredb_dev.amplicon_view) )) t
