ORA-00603 When Deleting From Table And ORA-00600[KTCDSO-1] Seen In Alert Log

The following errors have been observed for this issue:-

ORA-00603 : Reported in SQLPLUS session
ORA-00600[KTCDSO-1] : Reported in ALERT log

All of the following symptoms will be observed :-

a) a DELETE operation is being performed on a table
b) ON COMMIT refresh of MVIEW based on this table is being performed
c) The MVIEW is based on table(s) that contain Intermedia/Context based indexes
d) When the  DELETE is submitted in SQLPLUS ORA-00603 is raised and ORA-00600[KTCDSO-1] is seen
at this timestamp in the alert log
e) DELETE will work if the MVIEW is created with ON REFRESH or if IMT indexes are dropped

The stack will be similar to:-

The ORA-600 trace file will show that IMT/context indexes are being used e.g.
