Symptoms

Connecting to a 10.2 database from the Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP) may fail if row source statistic tracing is enabled via Database Event 10046 or SQL TRACE. This may also be enabled by calling DBMS_SESSION.SESSION_TRACE_ENABLE();
