Symptoms
When importing a Portal schema into a new metadata repository database, and error may occur:
IMP-00019: row rejected due to ORACLE error 12899
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 12899 encountered
ORA-12899: value too large for column "PORTAL"."WWNLS_STRINGS$"."TEXT_START" (actual: 268, maximum: 256)
. . importing table "WWWCP_URL_PARAMETER$" 0 rows imported
IMP-00041: Warning: object created with compilation warnings
Changes
The Database character sets on the target database is different from the character set from the source database.
