Goal

You have a 2 node RAC database with multiple archivelog destinations - with one on local

archivelog destination and the other on the shared disk .

 The configuration is as follows

NODE1 -
/u01/oradata/prod1/archive (Local)
/u02/oradata/prod1/archive (Global)

NODE2 -
/u01/oradata/prod2/archive (Local)
/u03/oradata/prod2/archive (Global)

You are in a position to delete the archivelog  which have been backed up from one of the destinations for both the nodes that is on the shared disk but not the archivelogs on the local disk and this is the case for the backups run from either of the nodes

run

{

allocate channel t1 type 'sbt_tape' CONNECT 'sys/sys@prod1';
allocate channel t2 type 'sbt_tape' CONNECT 'sys/sys@prod2';

BACKUP FORMAT '%d_ARCH_%T_%u_s%s_p%p' ARCHIVELOG ALL DELETE ALL INPUT;
}
