ORA-600 [729][space leak] with a Leak of 'kuxLpxAlloc' Memory (Doc ID 370505.1)

Symptoms

ORA-600 [729][7632][space leak] is reported frequently in the alert.log. There are also occasionally errors such as:

ORA-600 [kghfrf:prv]

On examination of the ORA-600 [729] trace files, the leak is of memory labeled 'kuxLpxAlloc', detected when cleaning up a dead PL/SQL Developer process. The memory heap in which the leak was reported is labeled 'kolt heap ds i'.

XML and temporary LOBs are used.
