Symptoms
Whenever a given RAC instance is shutdown, one or more of the following errors will be reported in the alert log(s) by FG and BG processes of any other remaining active instance(s) just prior to the reconfiguration.
ORA-27508: IPC error sending a message
ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:recv2 failed with status: -1
ORA-27301: OS failure message: error -1
ORA-27302: failure occurred at: sskgxp_recv
Verified the issue by duplicating issue on Oracle support internal system.
