ORA-26010 from IMPDP that uses direct path when importing into a table with DEFAULT column values (Doc ID 377229.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

Using impdp (Data Pump import) to import data into  pre-created tables that have added columns with DEFAULT values, you could receive the following errors:

ORA-31693: Table data object "SCOTT"."SCP_TIME_SERIES" failed to
load/unload and is being skipped due to error:
ORA-02354: error in exporting/importing data
ORA-26010: Column QTY in table "SCOTT"."SCP_TIME_SERIES" is NOT NULL and is not being loaded
