DBCA fails with ORA-01041 on SUN Solaris (Doc ID 378258.1)

Symptoms

Database creation using DBCA fails with ORA-1041.

The manual database creation of the database using the scripts generated by DBCA fails with ORA-01041.

Starting in mount state the instance using sqlplus fails again with ORA-01041.

In the alert.log there are the following errors :

 

Errors in file /opt/oracle/product/10g/rdbms/log/<SID>_ora_6048.trc:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kcbbnwa()+360] [SIGFPE] [Integer divide by zero] [0x100EEC428] [] []
