This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

ORA-600[kdiblLockRange:not validated] while executing a query.

The execution plan shows that there are no parallel executions happening .

The trace file would report the following failing functions : -  kdiblLockRange kdiblcfls kdiblFinish1 kdibliFinish kxibDoFinish
