Goal

This document will list commonly missed / misunderstood prerequisites necessary for successful Oracle Clusterware installation related to Real Application Clusters configurations on Windows platforms.

This document applies to all customers who install Oracle Clusterware 10.2 on Windows platforms.
This note is meant to be used as a checklist for customers to run through either prior to initial clusterware installation attempts or to help determine if the installation failure is caued by one of these common pitfalls.

This note will also be helpful for support engineers to help guide customers to possible causes for clusterware installation failure.
