Symptoms

You are doing the following:

rename a table (then rename it back to original name)
   truncate the table
import new data into the table
make a copy of the table

then a crash occurs when selecting from the table.

The alert log shows:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kzpchkc()+3884] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to
object] [0x000000001] [] []
found dead shared server 'S001', pid = (23, 1)
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kzpchkc()+3884] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to
object] [0x000000001] [] []
found dead shared server 'S002', pid = (24, 1)
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kglobcl()+383] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to
object] [0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF] [] []
ORA-00480: LCK* process terminated with error
PMON: terminating instance due to error 480
Instance terminated by PMON, pid = 5046

There is no usable call stack. Subsequent select on the table failed and the instance crashed. On restart the error could not be reproduced.

From the core file on the initial error, you may find the following stack:
