Symptoms

Materialized View Fast Refresh Via Dblink To 8i Release Crashes.

Problem started after upgrading mview site to 10.2.x; it used to work in 9.2.x.
Using fast refresh, intermittently getting ORA-600 [16606] when running dbms_mview.refresh by dbms_job.

Trace file shows failing SQL statement for this session:

SELECT /*+ remote_mapped(EBIL.WORLD) */ DISTINCT LOG$."SNCODE" FROM (SELECT MLOG$."SNCODE" FROM
"SYSADM"."MLOG$_MPUSNTAB"@EBIL.WORLD MLOG$ WHERE "SNAPTIME$$" > :1 AND ("DMLTYPE$$" != 'I')) LOG$
WHERE (LOG$."SNCODE") NOT IN (SELECT MAS_TAB$."SNCODE" FROM "SYSADM"."MPUSNTAB"@EBIL.WORLD
"MAS_TAB$" WHERE LOG$."SNCODE" = MAS_TAB$."SNCODE")
