If a problem occurs and you need to ship diagnostics to Oracle Support, the best tool to use is Oracle Trace File Analyzer (TFA).
TFA will collect targeted problem specific diagnostics, trimmed around the problem time. If Incident Packaging Service (IPS) details are required these are also included in TFA collections.
This document provides instructions to create diagnostic packages using different methods.
