ORA-35188 The Word + Must Be Followed By An Expression In Dimension-based equation Of A Model (Doc ID 420345.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.
The following problem could occur in the OLAP DML Model object of an Analytic Workspace.


Symptoms

In a   dimension-based equation of a model the dimension value is a reserved word.

In a dimension-based equation dimension values can be referenced without putting the value between single quotes.

If a value of a dimension is a reserved word like LT (less than logical operator), then it gives an error:

ERROR: (ORA-35188) The word + must be followed by an expression.
In ED_UTIL!GEO_TEST MODEL:
TOT_GEO = BE+LT
