Symptoms
While executing a RMAN backup the following errors occur:
channel Disk1: backup set complete, elapsed time: 00:01:30
Finished backup at 24-MAR-07
Starting backup at 24-MAR-07
current log archived
channel Disk1: starting archive log backupset
channel Disk1: starting piece 2 at 24-MAR-07
RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on Disk1 channel at 03/24/2007 03:36:28
ORA-19502: write error on file
"/<Filesystem_Path>/<dbname>/backup/backup123.bkp", blockno 5656577 (blocksize=512)
ORA-27072: File I/O error
Linux Error: 9: Bad file descriptor
