Last updated on NOVEMBER 05, 2018

Applies to:

Operating System Dependent Interface - Version 9.2 to 10.2
IBM z/OS on System z
IBM z/OS (OS/390)

Goal

This note expands the test with ASO when using Transparent Gatway for DB2.

The complete and official documentation is found in the TG4DB2 manual in the NET configuration chapter (ASO Section).

The purpose of this note is to show what is the real message when testing the ASO with the gateway.  The gateway manual states:

"Attempt a connection between the server and client systems. You should receive the following error message:

ORA-12660: Encryption or crypto-checksumming parameters incompatible "
