Symptoms

You have migrated your 9i database to 10g and a distributed statement which worked fine in 9i now is getting error ORA-22992 "cannot use LOB locators selected from  remote tables".

Even though the related remote table(s) does not contain any LOB column datatype.

Changes

Upgraded from 9i to 10g and/or 11.1.0.6.0
