ORA-00376 ORA-01110 After Changing Undo Tablespace in Automatic Undo Management (Doc ID 427801.1)

Symptoms

After changing the Undo tablespace to a new tablespace and making the old undo tablespace offline, you observe following errors while performing database operations.

ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00376: File xx Cannot be Read at This Time
ORA-01110: data file 2: 'oracledata/oradata/swacctst/undotbs01.dbf'



Above error indicate that the undotbs01.dbf file is offline. This file belongs to the old undo tablespace
