Symptoms

When attempting to insert into a table one or more of the following errors can occur:

ORA-600 [kcbgtcr_12]
ORA-600 [kcbnew_3]
ORA-600 [kcbgtcr_3]

The stack trace will be similar to the following for the ORA-600 [kcbgtcr_12] error:

Changes

The problem occurs after upgrading to 9.2.0.8 or 10.1.0.5, or where a one-off patch for <> has been applied.
