Symptoms

My Linux Dell x86 system hung. I had to do a hard restart of system due to hang. I restarted my

system w/o bringing Oracle down gracefully. During startup seeing the following errors:


Mon Apr 30 10:39:09 2007
Errors in file /oraadmin/xxx/dumpfiles/bdump/xxx_dbw0_4819.trc:
ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 35 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 35: '<PATH>/sdedata2xxx.dbf'
ORA-27086: unable to lock file - already in use
Linux Error: 11: Resource temporarily unavailable
Additional information: 8
ORA-1157 signalled during: alter database open
