Goal
The standard stemmer used in Oracle Text will not generate the plural form for words the stemmer finds as unfamiliar, for example technical terms such as firewall, fileset, etc. In order for queries to find both the singular and plural forms of these terms, regardless of what is entered, the dictionary used by the stemmer will need to be extended.
