ASM instance or Database instance on Windows platforms may fail in a RAC environment with the following errors:
Errors in file d:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\racdb\udump\racdb_ora_5555.trc: ORA-00603: ORACLE server session terminated by fatal error ORA-27501: IPC error creating a port ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:IPC_TCPListen failed with status: 10022 ORA-27301: OS failure message: An invalid argument was supplied. ORA-27302: failure occurred at: initport_3
These errors may ultimately lead in an instance eviction.
This type of error may occur after an increase in parallelism when running Parallel Query, and/or after an increase in the # of nodes in the cluster.
This may also occur due to changes in how LMS Processes are calculated.
