Oracle Transparent Gateway for DB2 - Version: 10.1 to 10.2
A connection attempt to the gateway returns a message similar to:
Message: ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message: DB2 RRSAF error OPENing subsystem ECG1 using plan G4DB2PLN DB2 RRSAF Code 8-00F30055: Max connections reached ORA-02063: preceding 3 lines from ECG1 Source
In the Transparent Gateway Joblog, we see, coincidentally :
08:56:49.59 STC00093 00000080 DB2 RRSAF error OPENing subsystem PDB2 using plan G4DB2PLN
08:56:49.59 STC00093 00000080 DB2 RRSAF Code 8-00F30055: Max connections reached
In this case ECG1 is the Transparent Gateyway instance, G4DB2PLAN is the plan name in use, and these may vary between customers, as will the times and STC numbers -these are just examples.
