Symptoms
The alert log reports next error and a possible instance crash:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kghquiesceable_extent_chkpin()+328] [SIGBUS] [Invalid address alignment] [0xB38F0000000029]
The call stack in the trace file shows function like:
... kghquiesceable_extent ksmc_select_granule kmgs_getgran_from_comp_helper kmgs_getgran_from_comp ...
Changes
The issue might occur after an upgrade or an increase in volume or anything else that might strain limited memory resources.
