Symptoms
After upgrading to a higher patchset and when performing the post installation scripts, new database connections using OS authentication (as in the following connect string) fail with the following error:
Changes
Upgraded database version to higher patchset
- No changes has been made to Oracle permission
- User entries in configured correctly /etc/group
