On a Windows 2003 machine, the new created partitions cannot be seen by the asmtoolg.
When a drive letter is assigned to the partitons (which is not what the documentation recommends),
the partitions are seen and they can be stamped as ASM disk. After this the disk groups can be created using DBCA or at ASM level.
The partitions were created by following the Note <<331796.1>>.
