Goal

Starting with 11g Oracle now provides a Database Gateway for Sybase on Linux. The gateway is certified only with Sybase ASE databases. The Sybase_IQ databases are NOT certified.

This DG4SYBS gateway release is certified with Oracle database release 10.1.0.5, 10.2.0.3 after applying the gateway compatibility patch bug <> or you can directly use it with Oracle RDBMS 10.2.0.4, 10.2.0.5, 11.1 and 11.2.

It might work with 9.2.0.8 after applying patch bug <<5965763<< but there's no guarantee as the 11.2 gateway was never officially certified with 9.2.0.8 Oracle database release.
