This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
This issue was observed on Oracle 10.1.0.5 HP-UX PA-Risc 64-bit server running Oracle Applications and from a JDBC thin client.
The error is intermittent but is reported in the alert log multiple times. There is no instance termination as a result of this error.
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kpolcsc1], [6], [], [], [], [], [], []
The bug has been observed in versions of 10.1 and 10.2 (but not 10.2.0.3)
