How To Configure Oracle Database To Use Kerberos Username More Than 30 Characters

Oracle user names are limited to 30 characters. When using kerberos authentication the kerberos user names can be long and more than 30 characters.
Oracle database 11g Release 1 (184.108.40.206.0) enables you to create external database users who have their kerberos user principal name longer than 30 characters. It is no longer restricted by the number of characters allowed in a database user name.
