Symptoms

 


Problem Statement:

Oracle 10.2.0.% RAC cluster on HP OpenVMS Itanium or Alpha.

Oracle RAC instance crashes with errors:
ORA-00484: LMS* process terminated with error
PMON: terminating instance due to error 484

These errors can be seen in the Alert.log of the crashed instance.
