Enterprise Manager Features Tested against a Database on z/OS (Doc ID 458349.1)

Purpose

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide information about the EM features tested against an Oracle Database on z/OS. It is telling the EM features that were tested succesfully as well as the features that raised an error and if there is a bug created.

Also it will state what EM features are unsupported against an Oracle Database on z/OS and  what features have not been tested by now.

This note will be updated continously, meanwhile further features will be tested, therefore some features may change from EM Not Tested features to EM Tested or EM not supported paragraphs.

Scope

This is intended to Database Administrators that require to monitor an Oracle Database running on zOS using Enterprise Manager version 10G.

The tests have been done using Databases versions 9.2.0.8 and 10.2.0.3.  When an option is not available in one of the versions or a problem has been found in one of the versions, It will  specify explicitily  for what version the issue was found. If the issue exists on both versions there will not be version specified and if both versions worked succesfully it will say ok without specifying the releases.
