Symptoms

1. Various ORA-7445 errors occurring in or called from ldx* modules.  This can include various call stacks but a few examples are:

lxoUcCmp ldxite ldxsnfcom ldxsnfcom ...

ldxsnfcom ldxsnf ldxgpc ...

ldxsnfcom ldxsnf ldxsti ...

ldxsnf ldxgpc evadrn evaopn2 ...

2. The session had previously executed SQL that had a DATE operator that used NLS (explicitly or implicitly) and raised an Oracle error of some form.

3. A subsequent operation in the same session then core dumps when trying to execute a CORE date function. (There should be an "ldx*" function at the top of the call stack before we enter error handling functions).
