We are pleased to announce a new release of the Oracle Rdb Developer Tools for Visual Studio, Release 7.3.6.0.0, is now available for downloading. The kit is currently on My Oracle Support.

The main new feature of this release is Visual Studio 2017 integration.

Oracle Rdb Developer Tools for Visual Studio bundles Oracle Rdb Data Provider for .NET and Oracle Rdb Developer Tools for Visual Studio.

Oracle Rdb Data Provider for .NET uses Oracle Rdb native APIs to offer fast and reliable access to Oracle Rdb data and features from any .NET application. Oracle Rdb Data Provider for .NET also uses and inherits classes and interfaces available in the Microsoft .NET Framework Class Library.

Oracle Rdb Developer Tools for Visual Studio integrates RdbDataAdapter with Visual Studio. It allows the use of standard Visual Studio Date Source tools to access Rdb databases and includes Database Access Code generation.
