Symptoms

The command archive log list doesn't show the first archive destination.

SQL>Archive log list

Database log mode Archive Mode
Automatic archival Enabled
Archive destination /opt/oracle/exp/eqa01p/arch02

SQL>Show parameter archive

NAME                           VALUE
-------------------------  ------------------------------
archive_lag_target              0
log_archive_dest
log_archive_dest_1         location=/u01/eqa01p/arch01 noreopen max_failure=0
                            mandatory alternate=log_archive_dest_2

...
log_archive_dest_10
log_archive_dest_2         location=/opt/oracle/exp/eqa01p/arch02
log_archive_dest_3
...

log_archive_dest_9
log_archive_dest_state_1     ENABLE
log_archive_dest_state_10    ENABLE
log_archive_dest_state_2     ALTERNATE
log_archive_dest_state_3     ENABLE

Why doesn't it show the log_archive_dest_1 in the archive log list output?
