Symptoms

ORA-600 [KGHALP1] error raised when trying to allocate memory in the "kxs-heap-c" heap when executing a join query.
The call stack from the trace file includes module kkedsamp() indicating that optimizer dynamic sampling is being performed.

Changes

OPTIMIZER_DYNAMIC_SAMPLING parameter is set to 4 or higher.
