Query Fails With ORA-600 [ztsmdwl failed] When Accessing Encrypted Column (Doc ID 550229.1)

Symptoms

1. ORA-600 [ztsmdwl failed] error occurs on SQL that accesses tables with encrypted columns.

2. The trace file shows a large failing select statement with many subselects. This error has also been seen when attempting to load data into a table with encrypted columns which also has complex columns (e.g. varrays) via SQL*Loader direct path mode.
