Symptoms
Client application was working fine before. Lately, intermittent errors in the application TNS-12570 started to occur. When the errors occur, the application has to reconnect. Clients are able to work some period of time but after 3-4 hrs the problem starts and the clients get disconnected from the application server. And in the application server event viewer you can see oracle TNS packet reader failure error. After restating the Application server client application works fine and after some time again the error reproduces. The Application server sqlnet log shows the below stack:
