Slow Inserts and Huge Memory Consumption On Tables With Triggers in 11g

Updates get progressively slower in 11g, whereas in 9i there is no problem.

The first updates go very quickly and after that the system seems to halt in 11g.

9i Win32 machine has a few Page Faults/sec, but 11g Win64 machine has many Page Faults/sec.
Virtual memory paging grows over time.


Upgraded from 9i (32 bit) to 11g (64 bit)
